Automated warehouse for pallets

The need to maximise the surface area in warehouses has led to the development of stacker cranes, designed to work in very narrow aisles and at heights above 30 metres.

Their vertical and horizontal speed and their automated operation triple the capacity of pallet extraction and handling.

The stacker cranes are guided by a profile fitted on the racks above the crane and by a rail anchored to the floor.
The racks can be double- or single-depth. Double-depth racking enables two levels of storage depth in each storage space, thus maximising capacity.

Advantages

  • Automation of products going in and coming out.
  • Elimination of mistakes made by manual procedures.
  • Control and updating of inventory management.
  • Management software which coordinates all the movements of the warehouse.
